Spadeadam Test Site Facilities
As well as all the test rigs mentioned elsewhere, the Advantica Spadeadam Test Site also has three 100m square concrete test pads that can be used as a firm foundation upon which to construct your own particular test kit. These test pads are connected to either of the two main control buildings via instrumentation ducts or above ground cabling systems. Modified steel containers provide control room facilities local to each particular test area.
The larger of the two buildings houses the site control centre, offices and canteen facilities. A meeting room is available here for smaller groups to use as a base during your time on site. Larger groups can be accommodated in our on-site conference centre, where you will find facilities for meetings, audio-visual presentations and conferences. Catering services can be arranged by prior appointment.
